I guess things change. Mine stated, and I quote: "Once the payment process is complete, the web site will display your official receipt in PDF format.
You must send the receipt to CPC-O. For fastest service, please attach it to an email and send it to the address CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais @ cic.gc.ca ."
Does that mean emailing the receipt would be sufficient?

If you included the number of the NOC, the name of the NOC and a substantial number of duties for this NOC, together with the number of hours worked per week and the annual salary, then you should be OK without having included the magic word ASSIST. However, if you did not include the NOC number and the duties do not match with NOC 4012, then you may want to send an updated letter to Ottawa as soon as you get your PER email.

When did you submit your application?
I submitted one month ago.

I included all those information (name of the NOC, almost all the duties for NOC 4012, working hours per week and the annual salary) except the word "assist". However, I read in the previous posts of this forum that someone's application got rejected because of that magic word ("ASSIST") which caused me to worry.

Ali,

After getting file number, update your letter.

I guess. But I played it safe and also sent a hard copy.

This definitely makes sense.
pyzdfr, I think you should just follow the guidelines given in the email. That's being said, sending hard copies along with soft copies would not hurt though.

Thanks for your advice. I'll submit a hard copy to their office.

Do you mind if I ask when you sent your passport?
I sent mine last week, but no news yet.
No problem. I sent the passport on Oct. 16 and it reached Ottawa on Oct. 20. I hope you will hear something next week. I checked our XL tracker and found out that even around 30 days to get back passport is normal. So don't worry much.

A friend of mine landed in late August and received the PR card exactly 2 months after. I landed 3 weeks ago and I'm still waiting. There is another forum on PR card arrival timeline that it might help: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pr-card-arrival-timeline-t73191.2190.html

Does cic ask for new photos with PPR or at the time of landing?

That's interesting that they've asked for so many documents and at the same time they are giving you medical exam form. What abour RPRF?
They don't reply emails. I think the only option is to call CIC and ask an agent.

Yeah, they asked for RPRF, too. Do you know the contact number?

If you sent the documents by express to the address they provided you in the email, then there is nothing to be concerned about. it is a normal procedure to get some delays after submitting documents.

Keep calm and sleep quiet, all will be fine.
Hi, Thanks for the quick reply, I sent the requested documents by email (Proof of funds, CV, thesis title, supervisors information and payment receipt) as was mentioned in their email. No hard copies! Did I have to send them the hard copes too? :-[. The deadline already passed :-[
