If you received a 365 day extension it likely means you requested the supporting documents. IRCC is sending such emails if the overseas visa offices is closed or operating with reduced capacity. It has nothing to do with where you ordered your GCMS file from. In that message IRCC would have given you the option to request just the "electronic records"?
Noo I don't mean to request for the supporting documents, just the Gcms note that I need. And since then I have not replied the email they sent to me asking if I need it electronically

What do you think was the average progressing time from AVO before the pandemic?

Was 9 to 10 months a reasonable average progressing time? I know AVO is pretty slow.

Don't know the exact number of people on this forum, but are there people actually getting any progress update (web-form, Ghost-update or GCMS showing file movement) from Accra VO???

Honestly I don't have faith in AVO. We may only see some form of update or progress the last quarter of the year.

Well, at least, that's when I intend ordering my 2nd GCMS notes.

If you need just the GCMS file then you may reply back and tell me them to release just electronic file

Who else is losing their mind. AVO visa office.

AOR - 03/05/19 (clocked 15 months yesterday). BIO - 13/06/19
Criminality passed, medical expired, security not started, eligibility requires review
I've ordered 3 GCMS notes till date, waiting for the 4th to be delivered this week, hopefully.
Apart from the review from the CIO office before it was transferred to AVO, no other action on the file since biometrics was passed.
The last recorded activity was the webform i raised 21/01/2020. There is no record of the other CSE and GCMS notes I have ordered

Nothing in the GCMS Notes section one could glean about why the RR?

@dayo, what was the reason for 'Review Required' on your elegibility?... I guess you must have noticed this from GCMS notes. If so, did you send additional documents to address the issue?

Nothing o. Just the normal notes from the CIO office which is like a summary of your file and criminality passed. No local visa officer has touched the file. you know all the notes where they mention your experience and calculate your scores is not there. My tired is tired.

I wouldn't know and that is the worrying part. the note did not even mention work experience, NOC or calculation of points for eligibility and all those that you see from VO. It is just like no one has touched the file since it left CIO.

That's strange. I think you should took at your notes again.

It should have a note by the case progressing agent or case analyst. This note from have your education, work experience, noc, etc. And yes, it should show a calculation of your points and total points assessed. Usually (not always) this note will say what the officer needs to review - hence the RR.

This note is usually from the CIO before it's sent to the LVO, Accra in this case.

@GW007 @caipsnotes The last GCMS note was 17/06/2020. Looking the dates on page 3 showing secondary offices, there are just random dates for the created and updated dates, 2007, 2010, 2014. it doesn't make sense.

The other thing that stood out is that the date file was transferred to Hong Kong(workload redistribution) and when it was sent back to AVO is the same. it was just all a couple of minutes apart.

Look for Note 1 towards the last pages of the GCMS (mine is on page 187) for comments by the Processing Agent.... There will normally be comments by the agent on Elegibility....the reason for the recommended review is often stated.

I have 126 pages. The note 1 is on page 121. the Note 1 is a record of the webform i raised to know application status. Like i said the last note from CIO is basically a summary of application.
