It appears most applications in AVO are being re-routed to LVO and other VO's, especially those already beyond the 6 months timeline. The explanation I got from an agent was "it is normal for VO's with heavy workload to redistribute in order to avoid processing delays". But could there really be an issue with AVO? because I have not heard of any PPR from AVO this year; if it is just a work load issue, some PPRs should trickle out atleast....just thinking.

I actually got to know that my Application was sent to LVO yesterday. I think i prefer LVO

You can either call CIC Ottawa or email them to inquire about the local visa office processing your application.

3 weeks after passport request I miss a call from Canadian embassy any idea what they are calling for ? I haven't revived my passport back too

well ok I'm worried becos my passport has been with them for 3 weeks now I'm thinking there is a problem
