-Account statement from Nigeria bank or

Based on what I got from a landed senior, as POF u need just the statement, a times they may not even ask u. But u have to declare large sum above 10,000 CAD.

Hello guys,

I am an applicant from Sierra Leone and Accra will be my VO office, just wondering how fast Accra VO is in processing applications for PR

They seem to be quite fast. Almost all PNP applicants since Nov 2015 till date got PPR in 2-3 months. Seems FSW and CEC (non PNP) take a bit longer.

Thanks for the reply One Topsy, I applied through OINP and still awaiting nominations... hope when the time comes for the PPR they will process it fast !

Thanks again

Hello Everyone. Please who knows the current exchange rate CIC uses to change from Canadian dollars to naira. For instance a family of 2. How much would I need to hold.

I suggest you use a known currency website I normally use www.xe.com, but let the seniors confirm this.

I also use that too. But just need to confirm. Cos xe.com seems a bit unrealistic for the naija market.

it uses the cbn official rate and not the parallel (black) market. I think CIC should be using same.

So I can safely use xe.com. Thanks. So I don't enter one chance :'(

I used a random online forex calculator. ...it's generally the same with cbn plus or minus a few points. Don't consider black market please. ... that's just as a result of greedy Nigerians although when you r ready to travel you'll need them and your total money may reduce.
