yup im also curious as to how you know it was the ACCRA VO.
and yes i agree....they have a backlog from 2014, a friend of mine applied and he was asked to do medicals late last year....then nothing from them...

But what does EE have to do with old paper based applications now..some people are putting their lives on hold bcos of EE. Haba!

I did not receive the 2nd AOR. Find below an extract from the request letter sent to me.
"The above information/documents must be received in our office within 30 days from the date of this
letter. Failure to do so could result in the refusal of your application. Please quote your complete
application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the Canadian High
Commission for Ghana in Accra at the address indicated below.
Please note that submission in person will not be accepted."
The complete address of the commission in Accra was provided to enable me send a copy of the RPRF payment receipt to them.
Is the above not convincing enough to believe that the processing is done in Accra?
Except for one EE applicant from November, I also observed that most of the PPR are issued to August batch (about 3 or more). You are September AOR, you should be expecting yours very soon (within the week perhaps). Accra is working and like I said before it appears they have backlogs. Let us keep praying, we will all receive our PPR by the grace of God.
Hi Everyone, i just joined here though i have been following all updates.Didn't really know how to go by it until someone taught me.I got ITA Oct 2nd 2015 draw (467 points) and i have submitted since Nov 29th.Additional documents have been requested (IELTS for myself and wife,Schedule 4 and 4a,A) and all accepted.Background check turned to in progress on 29th Jan 2016 and i got an email from Accra immigration asking me to go do Planning for Canada session at IOM.Please advice.Have i missed any step? Heard this step is supposed to be post PPR.

hmmmm.....i agree, check your mail very well oh, i saw on one thread how after 30 days, they sent a guy an email and said this was his last chance to send his passport...One_Topsy said:

They also stated that receiving that mail is not a guarantee that one will be issued PPR. But since your bg check has changed to in progress, you should be expecting PPR any moment from now. Please share with us the document they are requesting for. Am PNP and am more than 4 months after AOR. I believe also that the processing time depend largely on your travel history as they may have to contact every country that you have traveled to and this may slow down the process.

I just wonder why AVO will advise applicants to go ahead and attend IOM seminar only to say that doesnt guarantee PPR?! ??? Perhaps is better they issue such advise post PPR.... and thats why a Patib will rather receive her PPR before planning to attend such seminar!
And talking about backlogs, even the FSW2014 peeps are not getting MR/PPR or any updates for that matter from Accra, so which of the streams is really taking their time? This only leaves one to keep wondering
BTW i didn't hear anyone reporting PPR from AVO all through last week, only God knows what this week holds.
