Got delivery report from DHL on 29th march and no update from AVO since then. I have decided not to worry myself like I did while waiting for PPR. It will come when it comes.

Guys, did any of you have this section in your PPR letter?

☐ Updated family information: you must advise us of any change in your marital status or family
composition. All family members must be listed on your IMM8 application form. Failure to comply may
result in a delay in the issuance of your visa.

If so did you complete the IMM008 form, if though there was no change in your family composition.

Hmmmmm. I did not fill this form o. I only completed the additional family info form.
My application is approved and closed and I am waiting for DHL to pick up our passports.

I just joined the band wagon of approved and waiting for pick up.

I logged into my account and found profile details changed from submitted to approved but no changes when I clicked to check details and no email to this effect yet.

Hehehehehe... I eventually got the pick up mail yesterday afternoon, funny enough it was also sent to my spouse but landed his junk folder, the good thing is that it came ;D

I have detailed courier to pick docs up immediately

I sincerely appreciate everyone here and pray that those waiting will have cause to rejoice soonest.

Guys i wanted to ask....what's the longest time i should wait before contacting Accra abt my passport. It was delivered on the 22nd and nothing since then. ...i must admit i don't know what to think

Landed at Toronto Pearson via Emirates 4pm local time Monday 4th.Landing seamless.No POF related questions.Just Landing card declarations.If you are landing please ensure you give enough time between your connecting flights as queue at Border control was out of the world.Maybe cos of Emirates almost 700-capacity Air bus discharging passengers all at once. Was passed on to CBSA who did landing formalities within 10mins.Then passed on to Services Canada where SIN was given within another 15mins as well as some readable documents before connecting Calgary final destination.

1) If you have kids you can consider a more direct flight as Emirates can make the whole journey torturous cos of the flight duration though planes are relatively comfy.Try the US route if you have a valid US visa
2) Don't trust the Spring thingy....Cold still dey if you landing soon.Landed 4degrees in the sun at Toronto.
3) Seems every documentation requires a proof of residential abode e.g. Utilities bills.However COPR can open bank accounts.So Bank account first, then request your statement sent to your temporary accommodation afterwards.This serves as some utility document indicating your current address and will ease medical insurance opening and other documentation as might be required.

Will update the house as I learn more. Reality check kicks in..
