Oh I see what you meant, only a P.O box is there, I just noticed that too myself. Never mind, just walk into any DHL office, they should have the address. However, as per my tracking slip, the physical address is;

High Commission of Canada
Immigration Section
42 Independence Avenue
Accra
Ghana

Thanks Jide. Will do that tomorrow by God's Grace.

It has really been a long waiting game. I have spent 1 whole yr on this process. I really thank God.

PPR!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D

Just got notified by my consultant. Thank you everyone for your advice and support during the long wait. And I really hope everyone waiting gets theirs soon! Just hang on...it'll hit you anytime now.

Please quick question, I'm currently not in Nigeria and will return in a few weeks. Please does anyone know how to request for an extension of the submission date? And how long does it take Accra to respond to extension requests?

Thanks again everyone!

Congrats on your PPR and best wishes for the next steps. As you are not in Nigeria, raise a CSE and also send this request to the email on your PPR letter. However, depending on your travel flexibility, I will suggest that you return immediately to send your passport if you can, I am not saying they wont grant the extension. I just like to keep things simple.

As saskmydream mentioned , you can use your Naija DL for 90 days. Obtaining DL in Canada is 2-prong -written test and practical test. Your Naija license will only waive the written test for you, you still have to do the practical test. I will still advice you take (or study while preparing for the practical) the written test as it will be useful for you.

However if you have other DL like UK, Europe or US you can easily swop them for the Canadian one. For DL processing , I would think you can fill out an app online, or just do that at a govt or post office where you live.

Have you submitted your passport? any update yet in your myCIC?

ok cool,thanks.
yes ive submitted my passport, they received it on tuesday, no updates in myCIC yet...waiting patiently...so anxious!!!! 8)

Please note that you can'take use your Naija licence alone. You would also need an international driver licence o! Pls give me a +1 for this. I think this cost 10k and last for a year. Yes you can use for 3 months.
