I don't think they do any form of verification of the money in the bank. What they probably do is confirm from the bank that the document is genuine from them. (I'm not even sure this is done)

Make no mistakes, they VERIFY! I personally know someone who was banned for misrepresentation of PoF!

Please for those of you who recently received updated medical, have you finally received the PPR e-mail? My medicals was extended today so I'm wondering how much longer I have to wait for PPR.

My medical was extended on the 20th and I got PPR on the 26th

My funds used to be in my wife's name in a fixed investment in her bank. We recently liquidated after maturity and converted to USD then placed the funds in my USD account.. Do you advise I send a LOE with bank statement attachments? My passport has just been sent to Accra.

I think there is no need for that since your PR is already approved.... However, when you travel to Canada you need to show proof of funds at the time.

If listed your wife as accompanying spouse, I see no issues here. But yes, send an LOE with the statements just to clear any doubts. You'll surely pull through successfully. All the best.

You don't need to send any LOE to them because your application has been approved already. It is unsolicited information that doesn't have any influence
