Guys,
My application status has been changed to Closed and final decision changed to "This application has been approved". I sent our passports to Accra and delivered to embassy on Feb 15. Still now I didn't get any email to pick up passports. Does it sign that visa issued??

Perhaps you will get the email within a day or two

Yes it has been issued.By tomorrow afternoon you will get an email to arrange pick up if you used DHL.Got same message last Friday,paid 21700 to DHL and got tracking for return courier today.Hopefully it will get to Lagos tomorrow and pick on Thursday.Wishing the group more and more PPRs this week.

You guys are lucky to have used DHL. I used VFS and till date no update. Am wondering what is going on!!!. It is not a good experience using VFS.

I got email from High Commission of Canada that my documents are ready to pick up. Tomorrow I will arrange with DHL. DHL is really faster than VFS

I remember you said you were out of town when you got the PPR. Did you send your passports from where you were or you came back and then sent it. I would imagine you had to cut your trip short.

Reason I'm asking is I need to travel soon for 1-2 months and as I'm currently 64 days after AOR i might get PPR before i can come back.
Kindly advise.

I came back to the country of current residence, Nigeria and then I sent passports to Accra. Yes, I had to cut my trip short.

It is uncertain to get PPR, maybe you will get it next week, maybe after two months. Try to travel after 2/3 months. If you have urgent case, travel now but be prepared to come back any time if you have to. Remember from Accra office gives only 15 days to submit passports. And I suggest you to use DHL. It is faster thanVFS.

Maybe you can send the passports from your country, but if it is long distance to accra, it would risky to send passports. That's the reason I came back to Nigeria and then sent.

Think and take decision wisely. But you will have some solution for every situation.

Have you arrangd the pickup with DHL and how is the process?
Did you just give them a copy of the email from Embassy?

High commission of Canada sent me email, then I forwarded the email to dhl with an authorisation letter authorising DHL to pick my documents up. Then I paid DHL and dhl used the email as reference and sent it to Ghana dhl to pick it up. Tomorrow I will get the tracking number.

Thanks so much saskmydream....I wasn't scheduled for the February session eventually...But i have a date in March. Once you get COA based on trend i believe PPR is almost here....Trusting God for you too....Thanks for the message.....
