I see SA with my own UCI (not the applicant uci) in ecas

Okay thanks! Does it literally say "sponsor approval?" ?

My ecas says "my name" and "application received"

My sponsors says "my name" "in process" and "application received"

Is this all normal activity for 1 day after aor?

Will my sponsors change to "sponsor approval" instead of "in process" ?

Nope. Itll say "decision made" and then you shoudl expect the email within a few days

it changes regularly. it can range from a few days to 2-3 weeks. it depends on the number of applications received, which always changes. the best way to monitor this is to go to the monthly threads for outland applications to see what the current "trends" are.

ECAS provides status updates such as We Received Your File.... we began processing your file... things like that... gckey is where you go to to upload requested documents as well as where to see the explicit information of your application, for example, the status of your background check or your medical exam if it has been passed

Hello, I have been fallowing the comment about the difference between creating and account and the ECAS and gckey,from what I understood is that if I link my account to the gckey I can see more detailed information about my case.

Hi everyone!

My partner is sponsoring me to Canada through Spouse/Common-law sponsorship. We applied at the end of summer. He has just received AOR1 in his email. I haven't received anything yet. Can I use that AOR to apply for an open work permit?
