Hello Rosy,

Thanks

Have you received your AOR so far?

You know this AOR is nothing but just file number in it and we can say in other word that acknowledgement receipt of our application but they creat value of this letter by way of increase in their time line to issue AOR's... Believe me it is noting but just an application received acknowledgement receipt and we are now days eagerly waiting to see this letters..... I saw my phone in the morning while I was on the bed and there were notification showing email from CIC so I immediately open it and got relax because seriously it is too much important for me.

I have book an appointment for my medical on April 16, 2015 so I will go for the upfront medical now and submit the eMedical receipt to the CIC so that I will be relax from this part atleast as I have to visit Winnipeg in July and may they will issue medical in mean time than It would be difficult for me to handle the things so better go for the upfront medical which save my time around 1-2 months as well.

Application Received to CIC Nova Scotia on November 3rd, 2014

Any senior here who has experience that how to update CIC about change in employment?? I had resigned from the job on December 17th, 2014 and relieved by employer of Februaru 06, 2015 after serving notice period of 2 months. I am an unemployee right now... Is there any nagetive effect to my application if I have been Resigned from the work since I had already nominated under Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program from Manitoba Government.

Please light on the raise issue as It creat some tension for me now. I have total 8 years of work experience and now I am an unemployment.

Don't say that!!!

in fact AOR is the root of PR, without AOR you cannot even get an open work permit and many other things, AOR is definitely a huge progress into PR.

Yes definitely a lot of people even submit the medical exam with the application so yes it is okay to pay RPRF Fees and Medicals upfront, it does not necessarily speed up the process but you certainly have less things to worry about for later if that makes sense. I would recommend just waiting for the request is the best , because the sooner you do medicals the sooner they expire but if you wait for them then you have more time into the expiration of the medicals they are usually valid for 1 year from the date CIC received.
