AOR or Tracking Number from CIC ?

Hi

This is Mubeen from Calgary .

Can anyone please give the answers to below questions .

1) On 01/June/2015 , CIC got my citizenship application documents . I checked in the Canada Post Tracking number .
So when will i get the AOR or Tracking Number from CIC ?

2) If the Citizenship rules will change on 21/June/2015 and if i didn't get the AOR or Tracking Number from CIC then will my application would consider in OLD or NEW Rules

Please help me here

It will take 1-4 months to receive AOR

CIC will consider the date when the application was delivered to CIC. If the application is accepted and is not returned then it would be processed under old rules(no matter when you receive AOR)
If the application is returned after the new law goes into effect then you would have to resubmit according the new rules.

Once CIC opens the application package (it may take 1 to 4 months for CIC to open the application package from the day of the delivery of the application package at cic cpc sydney) and they will assess if its complete or not. If it is complete you will receive AOR. If the application is incomplete then it would be returned by regular canada post to you.

You can check the status of your application online using the following link only once cic enters your file in the system. If the application is not yet opened and entered in the system or application is returned then you can't access your application using the following link. The following link only works once the application is accepted and entered into the CIC system.
