Dear Sumit,
Can you please share your understandings in general on GCMS codes based on your discussion with lazybone? This will definitely help a lot others who had ordered GCMS recently.
Also, We have seen many 16 (c) 1 section in your note, which as stated by lazybone, is for 3rd party verification. Do you have any suspects on your info about why CIC VO raised those on your application?
Thanks.
Hi Fahad,
Thanks for your message. I would like to start my answer by tabulating the different points which you talked about in your message and also based on my own application and experience till date. I would also try to summarise Lazybone comments into those points only.
*You asked about the issue of due date of 2017-06 (A whole year later) in the security section of GCMS notes.
Well upon discussion with Lazybone and also through my own little bit of research on internet and on CanadaVisa Forum,
I found that this is generalise pattern to give the due date 1 year from when the application was filed as during the start of the process no one knows when actually your security check will start, so CIC usually go for the max time available which I think is a generalisation during start of the process. You shuld not worry about it as Security is usually the last step in application processing start a little late usually when your file is 3-4 months old in processing. What you should look into is Due date under Assessment if you want to take an estimate about your file progress as that give you an estimate on the timelines when you can expect further update/processing/work on your application.
Please check last few days posts of Lazybone on same (in June AOR group) suggesting about it and explaining in more detail. Its usually on page 2 of your GCMS under Assessments section.
*Now coming to next part of your question:
So, I came interested to ask you do you have any kind of military/police/govt connection through employment or etc?
Ans: NO
Did you visited countries other than your home country for long?
Ans: YES (I did my studies from another country and worked there for while around 2.5 years in total. Submitted PCC from that country in appropriate format specified on CIC website along with my home country PCC at same time during eAPR)
Is your application consists family members of 2 or more?
Ans: SINGLE
Can you find any reason or suspects for your case of such delay?
Ans: Frankly i didn't find anything unusual with my notes everything is going according to CIC stated timelines and I am perfectly OK to wait till 6 months for processing to complete.
3rd party verification is usally done for NOC verification and Job check, in my case they might have checked about my employer details (Though i worked for an international MNC so i am not worrying about it) to confirm the validity of work experience. I submitted all valid and original documentation to CIC.
And as my friend Lazybone has suggested we shouldn't worry much about these codes as its a common scenario with all lot of applicants (You can search on Google about or on this Forum also, you will find all lot of posts on it) and even I also found it through google. Also I need not worry as my Eligibility is already MET (R10 OK AND A11.2 MET), Medicals and Criminality are already PASSED with just Security NOT STARTED and that too was 1.5 months back in Sep when my notes were generated.
So my suggestion would be don't overthink, if your application documentation was correct/valid/authentic/original then you should not worry PPR will come sooner or later.
Hope this helps...
Best~~~
Sumit
