I see. Let's just hope for the best. Once you got your PPR all worries will vanish away.

Hi Guys,

I am inland PNP applicant with AOR 3rd June. It's almost 8 months and no news. When I called CIC after waiting 6 months, they said security check is taking longer.
Today I called them they said that security check is completed and just a final decision needs to be made.
But CIC also said that they don't know how long it will take.

Can anyone share their experience from being in the same boat on how long it will take from this stage for them to make a decision?
Any updates Shabbir?

Hi Guys,

I am am FSW PNP candidate with Ontario nomination. I received the AoR on June 30th. I submitted the additional documents required on July 5th. Ever since I have been waiting. Even BG check is not in progress (Medical's passed and review of eligibility in progress). I am really worried. I haven't raised a CSE so far neither have ordered for GCMS notes.

Wanted to check if anyone else is sailing in the same boat.

Request your advise please.

Wish you all good luck...

It's too late now for to order but you could call to your VO and ask about your application status or order one
to know the internal progress of your file
I think for outlander the bg changes to in progress means very close to PPR so wait for few days, regarding review of eligibility,it never shows passed until your application got approved or you could see from your notes, but at his stage I would say it is passed now.
Good luck

Hey Rabin

Nitz is correct that first you need bowp then you can extend trv...processing times for bowp is 33 days but since all the assessments are passed (specially criminality and r10) processing should be faster..

Best wishes!

Hi All...

After a long wait (221 days - 7months and 11days), I received the request to send passports...today 8.44am ET

I started this journey in late 2014 when I did the then paper application which was returned due to NOC Cap. In the regret letter, I was advised to wait and apply via EE in 2015. I replied in September 2015 but had to go through the 'Nomination process' since with my wife and kids, I could not get more than 450points to be selected in the round of invitations... I was nominated in April 2016... See my timeline below;

I should be celebrating this stage but I have a long 'story of my life' - it looks like the hardest part is only beginning. I will tell the story tomorrow.... meanwhile, my timelines below:-

Visa Office: New York

NOC 1112
10 Sep 2015: EE App Submitted
01 Apr 2016: OINP Nomination
06 May 2016: ITA
23 Jun 2016: CIC eApp & AoR
27 Jun 2016: Schedule A & Form IMM5662E: Sub: 28 Jun 2016
19 Jul 2016: Medical Passed
11 Jan 2017: Background in Progress
30 Jan 2017: PPR
