Congrats to all PPR's today.

Unfortunately. CEC Inland Refused at 730 am December 2nd. Reason being no ECA uploaded even though I hold a Canadian Red Seal in NOC 7321. Now, from my understanding there is minimal education requirements for CEC. A post secondary certificate or diploma (red seal) OR (Not AND) a foreign credentials recognized through an ECA. Please refer to CEC eligibility.

Just looking for some answers if anyone has any. Who can I contact? I believe this decision isn't really fair and also...I'm on implied status..how long until I have to leave the country?

Sorry to hear that tim..from what i have seen here..red seal isnt assessed as a degree..

Start a new thread brother..you will find your answer soon enough..more informed members will advise you my friend..
You wont have a lot of time my friend to fight this thru..act fast brother...

I appreciate the feedback. Right now I'd like to go see my family, but I also would like to know how long I have before I have to leave the country? I'm yet to receive my refused bowp notice. I can't really find any info.

And it took them 5 months to notice that your application is missing an ECA?!!! Isn't this what the initial completeness check is for? IRCC is disgusting!!!

Yeah, IRCC can improve the experience of applicants by rejecting at the earliest decision point, however they wait till the very end before finalizing. This basically incentivizes candidates to apply for GCMS notes several times further slowing down IRCC processing time.

Because the agent doesnt finalize the application the officer does...and it takes time to review and conduct their due dilligence of the applicants docs, before the officer comes to such a decision..

Thats the same reason why you will find some applications getting rejected around 5 months for noc inconsistencies..

I understand its disheartening but its their process..

There is NO Education required for CECs, how he/she got rejected? ECA for CECs is only for getting extra points!?

Hey Guys, I also got my PPR on Dec 2nd. Congrats to those who got their PPR as well and good luck to those who are still waiting.

AOR July 5th - CEC inland.
