Tried yesterday but could not connect to any agent. Called 10 times and everytime got the same revert i.e. all lines are busy etc.

congrats to all those who got PPR!! all the the best to those who are in line.. hang in there guys..
NDVO takes 4-5 days to stamp .. I just got my application updated [ final decision- approved] on the CIC site. Add to this transit time by VFS .. i think should be 3 days in total, so we are looking at 7-8 days until we get our passports back in our hands.

Hello guys
I got a letter for the final step of my PR application.
Can somebody tell me if I still have to send my photo and passport for PR even though I had a new baby ?
Should I get the medical exam ready for my new born before they ask for it ?
Is it going to delay my PR and how long ?

Do not worry. All the PPR's have been for the Inlanders. Did you call CIC BTW.

this 5 working days means from the day we send our passport to vfs till we get it back? my wife has submitted her passport to vfs today..so shall i consider that i will be back by 21st july? coz i hv to book her fligth tickets and i really confused.

Talked to the Agent last Monday and he only assured everything is OK, they are just waiting for internal background check and them someone will review the application for Final Decision. No specific timeline for decision.... :(

I think we share the same officer.... no activity at all. CEC inland and AOR Jan 28th. I called yesterday but the lady asked for the date (not only january) and told me to call back. So i really don't know...

Give a week in between as buffer. 5 working days is general time. Sometimes, it gets delayed. It happened to me for my VISA stamping last time.

today is 13th and i am planning to buy tickets on 1st august..is that enuf? what u think?
