I got an email requesting me to go to an IRCC office in Canada (I'm CEC inland) and provide my passports, two photos.

Here's the email:

Dear client

I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for:

Date and place

In order to grant permanent residence, all applicants must provide satisfactory original identity documents at this interview.

You must attend the interview with the following:

1. All of your non-Canadian dependants in Canada included in this application

2. Current valid original passports (some exceptions may apply to Convention Refugees)

3. Proof that you and any of your adult dependants have each paid the $490 Right of Permanent Residence Fee (This fee is not required for minors or Convention Refugees)

NOTE: If you have not yet paid this fee, you must do so on-line at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp

You must make this payment prior to your interview and bring the original receipt with you or this appointment may be re-scheduled.



4. Your own interpreter, if required

5. Your sponsor if you are being landed under the In-Canada Spousal/Family Class

6. Two (2) identical photos for each applicant on this application taken within the last 6 months (For photo specifications, please visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/pdf/5445EB-e.pdf)

7. All documents and permits previously issued or mailed to you by IRCC

Guys, my eyes are full of tear
Finally I got my PPR

The journey was so emotional , I am speech less.

Despite of being in Singapore, my primary VO was cpc-Ottawa and letter was issued there came directly to my my email.

I was asked to submit photos and passport to SG via CVAC.

THANKS EVERYONE - this forum is the best, people are wonderful, let the storm begin!!!

Btw we have a literally rainy morning here in Singapore.

Got my PPR yesterday.......BG changed on 30th June.

I had few questions regarding the same

a) My wife is in canada. If she gets the PR stamped and if she exits the country for a holiday, can she enter the country again or does she need to enter with me? I am the primary applicant.

b) How long does it take for the PR card to arrive after entering canada?

Does anyone know?

I am still waiting with AOR 17 Jan, no updations, BG still at not started....173rd day today. OINP outland. Wonder how long they will be doing the eligibility check...

Just hope this thing moves faster...

Hello Friends would really appreciate your views on my below question.

I have received my Canadian Permanent Resident Visa and due for Landing in Dec’16, I did not apply through any PNP or through LMIA

Now, I have specified in the Express Entry initially that I intend to settle in Toronto hence my COPR mentions Toronto, now I have decided to settle in Montreal so can I legally do so after landing? or do I still need to get a CSQ ?

Submitted passport through vfs global chennai today. The counter person said i will receive the passports back in 5 working days.!!! Have to wait and see!!
