CIC may surprise us tomorrow. It's Thursday.

thats there nature. I'm assuming some VO probably took days off as schools are done too and usually July long weekend week is like this every year. Hopefully the next week brings a thunderstorm (not rain) of PPR.

We need a long monsoon, rain everyday heavily. Thunderstorms won't work : )

Question to all those who has received PPR. Did you get the email alone or was there any message in your application online? One of my friend (AOR is February :) ) got his PPR yesterday. Looks like he got a message in the application online along with email.

Both, for some people it comes as an email to their electronic address associated to the CIC profile, for others they receive an email alert that they receive a message on their CIC profile (like the update mail).
I guess it is related to LVO policy of issuing PPR or may be could be related to the choice made by the candidating while selecting the preferred canal of communication with CIC.

Guys, help me out

My wife was denied admission to the US in March 2016. Her Visa was cancelled at the port of entry. Reason given was that 2 years earlier she had given birth to our daughter in the States while on a tourism visa. She was asked to go back to the US Consulate with another visa application - needless to say, she was denied a visa on the ground that she did not have a job (she has been unemployed for a while) and that they were not sure she wanted to get a third child in the US.

I am just wondering if any of you has been in a similar situation or heard of someone in such a situation. Do you think this would delay my application???
I am the primary applicant with my wife and 2 kids as dependents.

This is part of the reason why I was asked to submit Schedule A form i.e. because the question regarding 'visa refusal' was answered 'Yes'

Thanks in advance all!!!!

Hello Seniors and friends,

I am a silent follower of the thread.... My timeline is as follows:

FSW Inland
VO- Ottawa
AOR- 01/29/2016
Medical passed - somewhere in feb
RCMP fingerprint asked- Late Feb
RCMP fingerprint submitted - March

Since then my background is in progress...

So I ordered GCMS notes on June 2nd, 2016, got it today...Kindly help me understand where I stand, the main points in notes says the following:

ANALYST RECOMMENDATION - Recommended Pass
Analyst Notes -
A11.2 appears met
R75(2) FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -Appears met
R76(1) a-SELECTION CRITERIA- FSW POINTS- Appears met . FSW points total 79
R76(1) b- Funds- Appears met
RPRF: Complete. Ready to Finalize

Then it gives details of all the points I scored in CRS, and it says the duties are according to NOC.

So my question being, whats next and any idea how much time ??

Thanks in advance...
