AOR JAN 2016 - let's get together

Looks like there are a good number of Jan 16 AOR people still waiting for PPR along with me.

While I have been following up this group very closely, are there people with AOR of Dec 15 or earlier who are yet to receive their PPR. That would give us an indication whether CIC overshoots the six months time.

In the morning it said approved on the outside messages where it shows updated.

Right now got a alert email and when i checked the background check status is completed and application has been approved/

The passport tracker still shows nothing but usually it updates late evening or early morning after the dispatch.

Hello Seniors and friends,

I am a silent follower of the thread.... My timeline is as follows:

FSW Inland
VO- Ottawa
AOR- 01/29/2016
Medical passed - somewhere in feb
RCMP fingerprint asked- Late Feb
RCMP fingerprint submitted - March

Since then my background is in progress...

So I ordered GCMS notes on June 2nd, 2016, got it today...Kindly help me understand where I stand, the main points in notes says the following:

ANALYST RECOMMENDATION - Recommended Pass
Analyst Notes -
A11.2 appears met
R75(2) FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS -Appears met
R76(1) a-SELECTION CRITERIA- FSW POINTS- Appears met . FSW points total 79
R76(1) b- Funds- Appears met
RPRF: Complete. Ready to Finalize

Then it gives details of all the points I scored in CRS, and it says the duties are according to NOC.

So my question being, whats next and any idea how much time ??

What is the next due date on your file? you can expect profile around that date. Should be on your Notes.

Oh...thanks...So after 5 months 16 days, I am still stuck with not needed

Seems no PPRs are issued this week till now.

Last week many with AOR 28-jan and few with AOR 29-Jan got PPR. And it happened within 0 to 2 days of BG Status going to 'In Progress'. Hope I will get it this week, since my AOR is 29-Jan and BGC status became 'In Progress' at end of last week.

Normally if the BGC starts at the 5th month after AOR, looks like it is just a formality which they complete in a day or two. Some people have BGS as 'In Progress' for longer time, where it is observed that their BGC started much before the 5th month and may be there is a real BGC going on.

Please share your views. Eagerly waiting so that I can resign my current job which has a notice period, and after completing which, I need to land as early as possible to get a good job, before the winter sets in.

ITA Received: 04-Dec-2015
ePR Submitted & AOR: 29-Jan-2016
Medicals Passed: 03-Feb-2016
RPRF Payment Notice: 10-Jun-2016.
RRPF Paid: 17-Jun-2016.
BGC: Changed back to 'In Progress' on 25-Jun-2016.
PPR: Expected this week

We got our Passport Back along with COPR.

Profile is approved on 24-June. Passport was dispatched from NDVO on 28-June morning

and Passport was ready for collection on 29-June at VFS Mumbai.

There is an option that was available.

1. Personally collect from VFS counter. Easy and takes around 30 min due to token system. Passport can be collected by passport owner only. PA and Dependent both need to be there. Else issue authority letter to collect the same to any of the family members. Family members will have to provide their address proof and collect the same.

In our case, I had taken authority letter of my spouse and my Government Issued ID proofs. Once my turn came, it took 5 minutes to collect our passports. I opened the envelopes and checked if COPR with one Photo attached and other loose in there, Visa on Passport, Name, DOB, Passport Expiry etc. on Visa. I left VFS office only after I was satisfied with it.

2. They send passport directly at the address that you provide. Passport can be collected by passport owner only. PA and Dependent both need to be there. Else issue authority letter to collect the same to any of the family members. Family members will have to provide their Government Issued ID proof and collect the same.

Thanks for your support and guidanxe. I finally received visa and copr. I have a small query. The visa I have received is till 24 Jan 2017. Its the same date for the end of given medical tests.
Does anyone know when are the PR card are received to the applicant at the given Canadian addresses after landing there.
