@GokulGuruprasad Thank you for your suggestions.

Don't we need to send PCC and medical copies by post?

How does PCC looks like? Is it sealed or it is just a paper?

Guys my background went in progress yesterday with no email and today I got an email from cic about my application updated but no updates in my account.
Does it tell me something
Thanks

No. Just scan and upload the PCC and eMedical acknowledgement copy

Just a paper printed with your details stating that there are no cases against you. May also contain a photo

Thank you for the information.
Do they also stamp passport with PCC stamp. If yes, do we also need to send the PP photocopy?

Back Ground Check status moved to 'In Progress' :)

Can we please go back to the topic?

For many including me BG check started turning to In Progress last week. Barring 1 or 2 people no one has reported PPR email. Does someone know what can be the possible reason for the holdup?

Well some had their bg in progress since months ago , for example mine since Jan though I am outlander.

Usually bgc ip could mean that PPR is near by but not necessarily true all the time.

In the supposed COPR letter shown in MyCIC, my name is listed twice in the table, once for IMM5785 and then underneath for IMM5688. Any ideas why twice?

Also, why do I get this letter, as I thought COPR was two letters, one with photo and one without, which I need to take to the Port of Entry?

Im guessing "those" COPR letters are still in the post.../ waiting to be posted.

Guys, i have a question re Right of Permanent Residence Fee.

Is it true that if we pay this fee upfront, it may help speeding up our application assessment?

Little bit..As CIC never has to request this again after eligibility is passed.

Just so i dont feel left out :)
Who still has their BG stuck at not started?
