Passport Request (PPR): 8 June 2016
Confirmation of PR (COPR): Pending

on saturday I got email of update in cic ac and it was for "Background check completed", "file closed" and "approved".
No msg after that. Does this mean I have got PR visa in my Passport?

Hi Guys,

I received an email titled "ready for visa" today. It asked me to send my passport.
I'm a CEC inland, no PNP applicant.

AOR: 29th Jan, 2016
Request additional document(Non criminal record): Feb 17th
document submitted: Feb 23
My application status doesn't change since then. Except they changed "document required" to "Provided".
It was a long wait. I felt my application was ignored...
However, yesterday my BG check changed to "in progress". Today I received the email "ready for visa“
I guess this officer is super efficient??

Just wanted to share the awesome news that I got my PPR this morning!!! ;D I have been quietly following this forum and just wanted to share the news and give you hope that very soon you will all have your PPRs as well!!

AOR: Jan 4th
PPR: June 10th (158 days in total)
FSW inland (no PNP, no LMIA)

Good luck to you all and I will keep my fingers crossed to get COPR shortly!!

I am exactly in the same situation. my AOR is jan 8th. Had a delay in FBI PCC..CSE'ed it in 1st week of Feb..BG Check - 'Not Started'. No communication from CIC

Thanks!! Not really, first I got the PPR E-mail with subject "Ready for Visa" (around 10am) and my BG check only changed to in progress in the afternoon (around 3pm)

It seems to be an erratic behavior, varying case by case

Congratulations buddy! You will receive an email on your registered email ID (at CIC) or an update on your myCIC portal where they'll be requesting your passport and other documents like photographs etc. You will have to submit it to VFS Global in your region (if you are in India) along with the copy of the email (which you'll get from CIC asking for your passports) and photographs and your passports, not to mention the fees of VFS Global (which is bare minimum). Once you submit these documents your passports will be forwarded to Canadian High Commission, which will issue the passports back with your PR Visa and COPR's. Hope it helps!

True that... Quite possible that he has a Visa on his passport now! My case was approved on myCIC after 15 days of getting my passports back from VFS!!

lots of people are still waiting, including me. I am panicking already too, cause it's been over 1 month after i paid RPRF.

So worried.

Let this week bring PPRs to all of us waiting! #fingerscrossed
