Hi I'm on the same group PNP outland have not received my PPR. Mine is 4 months and 3 weeks since AOR.

Hi All,

I am a FSW out land applicant currently in the PPR state. CIC requested for my passport to issue the visa required for my landing. However, due to traveling I can't submit my passport until one month from now.

1. I am wondering if my COPR is pending passport submission or they have two separate process?
2. Can I assume I got my PR at this stage and plan accordingly? or COPR is the final confirmation?

You will receive COPR only if you submit your passports. COPR is the semi final confirmation. Final confirmation is once you do the landing and cross the border.

You can email your visa office and ask for an extension for passport submission. Make sure you send prove why you can't submit your passport (copy of your tickets, hotel reservations) anything which proves you're travelling.

Hi all

I got my COPR last week.

Just had a few more questions.

1. I am visiting by brother in Chicago in sep, can i drive to toronto and get my landing procedure done at the port of entry? Or do i have to take a flight ?

2. I am also getting married in Sep. What is the quickest way to get my wife to be's PR/Visa processed ? And how do i get it done ? any guidlines ? I read somewhere if i get married after COPR and before landing it takes 1 month for the spouse to get her PR/Visa.

I am also PNP-Outland(NDVO) and its been 4 months and 2 weeks Since AOR. Currently my employer wants to send me to Canada, they are keep on asking me about the status of my PR :'( :'(. I am so much worried, if any further delay they may plan to send someone else. :'(.
Not sure, is the delay due to my application or NDVO side. Unfortunately, not getting any response from NDVO for Case Specific inquiry >:(.
I ordered GCMS notes on May 30. Hope it may give some information about my profile.
Below are my timelines
AOR: 26th Jan
Noc: 2171
Visa office: NDVO
Category: PNP (Ontario)

Thanks for the recom :)

Actually it is mentioned in the Email from CIC that I have to submit my passport within 30 days. However, I Emailed the High Commission of Canada in my current country of residence and asked them if I can submit it after my trip which is gonna be 36 days after the date I received my PPR. I didn't provide any ticket or evidence.

They replied back "Please submit your passport ASAP after your trip."

So can I assume I'm safe and submit my passport after my trip?
