guys, i got RPFR request on may 5 and paid on May 6, since then no news or updates. And background check is still "not needed"

i am starting to get a bit worried. Not even sure whether it's one step closer to PPR or not.
Does anyone have any clue?

Relax,

You wouldn't have got a RPRF if the application wasn't progressing. It means they intend to issue you a PR. Just a matter of a few more days.

same situation here ~~ paid RPFR on may 5

It seems to be a pretty slow week in terms of people receiving PPR.

When do you guys think that FSW Outland are going to start hearing news? I know a few have, but I mean, when do you think they'll really turn their attention to this category?

I don't think that IRCC specifically looks at FSW, CEC or PNP applicants differently, though it seems that way most of the time. What seems to be the case is that the procedures for each class seems to be different, so it seems that way. I have seen some weeks when more PNPs get PPRs and some where more CEC and FSW applicants get PPR.

Hopefully all will get soon, as I haven't seen many rejections as compared to the PPRs being issued. So that seems to be the one positive thing to consider.

Yeah, that's very true!

I'm just trying to remain patient and optimistic, that's all!

This forum is real good for encouragement and support. Its been really helpful for me so I try to give back the encouragement and support that I got when waiting for my PPR. ;D

This place is amazingly supportive and encouraging. I said a few days back, the sense of genuine excitement we all have for one another when one of us gets positive news is awesome. So thanks for frequenting still even though you got yours a few months ago! :)

PNP always have a political pressure, so they move faster. Just an observation.

I am doing this for entirely selfish reasons ;) .

I still need help and support for when I land, and start settling in Canada and then apply for citizenship. This forum guides you all the way through.

Well, it makes sense that if they have a higher score, they get to be processed first. Just like the rounds of invitations.

It's been four months since AOR, and aside from my meds being passed, and a request for police certificates (which I provided), I have heard nothing. Wondering if this is normal. Inland FSW with Jan 14 AOR.
