Inland applications and applications from US are processed fully by CPC-Ottawa and based on their reported timelines, they are working on Oct/Nov PPR's. Guess will be that it will May-June for Jan AOR's.

Can you give me the link to check the processing times by Visa office?

Is it wise to get it changed now, or I must wait for the PR and then apply for renewal?

Since EE is a new program, there is no accurate estimations of processing time. The only info we have from CIC is that it can take upto 6 months.
My conclusions were based on threads from Oct/Nov-2015 AOR threads.

October 2017..

They usually prefer that your passport has a MINIMUM of 6 months validity before PPR so I'd say If your AOR is jan 2016,you have at least till August 2016 to get PPR which gives you more than one year validity on your passport, i.e September 2016 to October 2017,so NO, you don't need to renew your passport unless something drastic happens that pulls your application over the 6 month processing times .....

Yes! A couple of us have received PPR.
No one can say what the next update could be. It's depends on your peculiar situation. My background is still not needed at this time and i got PPR. Just b patient, you'll get it very soon.

Same situation here, I want to organise my new 10 year passport before leaving but I'm not sure if I should wait or if I have to notify CIC if I get a new passport? Any help appreciated.
