Some PNP from November got their PPR in 2 months!! Middle of last year PNP were usually taking 5-6 months like everyone else. Also, I see that last year RPRF would come 2-3 months after AOR, now some people are receiving it 1 month or less after AOR. I see a trend, it seems applications are being processed faster, but I'm just speculating and I really don't expect news within two weeks for an FSW applicant.....

I'll just continue checking applicants from November, December and January to understand the trend....

I hope your speculation is true. Specially, considering the fact that ~4500 invitations are sent in January. So I hope they have already increased their officers to process the applications in less than 6 months!

Hi Seniors

I got AOR on 13-Jan and subsequently asked to provide Sch4 and Sch4A. I had provided those docs the very next day.

Currently the status shows "Provided" for these documents for the last 2-3 days . Is this ok as the last date for submitting these docs is tomorrow ?

Application/profile status Open
Review of eligibility Review in Progress
Review of medical results Passed
Review of submitted documents Provided
Scheduling an interview Not needed at this time
A background check is needed In Progress
Final decision Not Started

Got my Invitation on 27th November 2015. Took a really long time getting all documents. Applied today.

AOR: 20th January, 2016.

Note to Everyone:

As soon as you apply, start working on the documents that you think might take longer. You will be surprised how much time and stress it saves you. learnt that the hard way. :/

Medical Review: Passed (27th January 2016). :)

And I can't seem to update it on the Spreadsheet (Its locked and I only see the link to the Initial Form). Any ideas?

Provided means that they have received the documents. It's fine.

I wonder how some folks got their med passed 2 or 3 days after AOR

About medicals - guys, that's normal.
Sure, there has to be a set sequence in which CIC processes our applications, but from experience - medicals are not necessarily the first step in that sequence.
My medicals have been approved the day after AOR, but my BG check has not been started for two months now, while I've seen people whose BG started after less than a month and the medicals were not checked until the very end, 2-4 months after AOR. Could be this is your case, too. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with your application.

Hey Guys,
I submitted my application on the 23rd, meds passed and updated on the 25th, today I have a request to upload my PCC from FBI within 60 days Shocked Sad(by march 27th). I had already provided proof (mail receipt and proof of delivery of mail) that I have applied to the FBI (application was delivered on January 6th) In addition I had included a letter of explanation saying the FBI's website says that the current processing times are 13-15 weeks, I don't expect mine will be completed in 60 days. My credit card has not been charged still (By the FBI), any suggestions what to do??

Thanks
Starr

Interesting. I submitted on Jan 20 (see my timeline), and like you I did not have the FBI report at hand. I also submitted DHL proof of delivery, copy of completed application, etc, and LOE (in which I also mentioned the 13 -15 processing time). I have not heard back yet from CIC regarding this document.

My suggestion is to wait till it's close to the 60-day deadline, and if the report is still not available, you just upload another LOE. People have successfully requested and received a second extension. There is a dedicated thread on this topic:

Thanks Ybjianada,

I'm concerned that they will not process my application till then as the letter states that the information/documents requested should be submitted within 60 days of receiving this correspondence, if this deadline is not met, then my application would be processed without this (and with only the information provided) and my application may be refused. So I'm wondering if I should just provide another letter of explanation after calling the FBI and letting them (the CIC) know that meeting this deadline may not be possible, In this way, would they continue processing my file till then?? Also where do I upload the Document/LOE??

Also,

I was asked to submit my FBI pcc 60 days from the date of correspondence (march 27th 2016), however in the place to upload the document, it says feb 17th 2016 :o, now I'm more inclined to send in a letter of explanation reiterating the 13-15 week processing time and the very low likelihood of meeting the 60 day deadline (or the feb 17th deadline).

I am also joined the long waiting group..

App submitted - 27th JAn
AOR - 27th Jan

I think this problem is common – that people are given 60 days but the 'myCIC' upload field specifies a much earlier deadline. Don't know why. But I believe the suggestion (from the thread that I posted earlier) is to upload the LOE before the earlier deadline (in which you can also explain the discrepancy).

I understand that your worry is CIC may put the application on hold until the FBI document is received. On this, opinion seems to be mixed. And I really don't know.

Perhaps you can email FBI customer service: liaison@leo.gov

And get something in writing from them on which date of received applications they are currently processing. And upload that together with your LOE?
