Are you an outland candidate? And are you the primary applicant? Having a baby during PR process, before getting PPR means you need to inform CIC. I think within 30 days, please check on their website.
Once the baby is born I think the proof of funds amount changes since its 3 applicants at that point.
If baby is born after PPR, then I'm not sure how it works.

Yes I am Outland candidate and also the primary applicant. My application is on hold since Jan 2016 as I filled and send pregancy deferral letter along with medical of my wife. I assume they already know that we are expect baby in future so they put my application on hold until medical is complete.
What my question is when my wife's medical will complete then my application will be halted automatically or shall I have to inform CIC through CSE regarding the same?

Once your child is born, you'll have to raise an CSE informing them of the change in your family. They will then give you 30 days to submit the child's passport and birth certificate. Once the documents are submitted and your wife completes her medical x-ray, your file will start processing.

ive been asked to submit a police clearance certificate, im figuring this is because i was in the USA when i filed my application??what do u guys think?

"Provide an original police clearance certificate including FBI certificate if applicable"
anyone with the same requirement?im thinking its because i was in the USA when i filed my application, but i dint stay there for upto 6 months, i was there for 2 months?im i meant to do a nigerian one again?or a west indies one again?(i schooled there and provided one before) or is it jst incase i stayed for 6 months in the USA?

they are saying if applicable.I think it is applicable if you have stayed for more than 6 months. just mail them and seek clarification.
