Hi All,

I've been closely following this thread and wondering how many people have the same application status as mine.

ITA: November 27, 2015
AOR: January 21, 2016

Application/profile status: Open
Review of eligibility: Review in Progress
Review of medical results: Passed
Review of submitted documents: No additional documents are needed at this time
Scheduling an interview: Not needed at this time
A background check is needed: Not needed at this time
Final decision: Not Started

Also, does CIC ever reject applications especially if you're more than 5 months through?

I have the same ITA date and same AOR date. My Background Check went into progress almost two weeks ago now though.

My documents for COPR have been mailed out and reached VO for 2 weeks but my EE file still remained unchanged, not closed yet. Does anyone could let me know when can I expect to receive my COPR back? Thank you.

Why would they be closed? Except Canadian consulates in the States that could close for the 4th of July I do not see any reason for them anywhere else to be closed on an American holiday...

I think that your whole BG issue is complete, They asked for additional documents then it went to "not needed at the time", if they still wanted to check additional documents, the status would have been "not Started or in progress". Just a theory.

I so wish. Been 170 days for me...I guess, soon I will be in the group "Members who haven't received PPR within 6 months ". Secondly, unlike most members, my bg is still stuck at "Not needed at this time" :-X

So based on that, do you think it'll be a few more weeks before PPR? Are they reviewing our backgrounds now?

I applied under the PNP category (OINP, outland). My AOR was on Jan. 3rd, medicals passed a couple of days later and some additional documents and forms submitted on Feb. 1st. Then my process had "Documents Provided" status until Jun. 24th, when my BG was updated to "In Progress". No news since. I am waiting for the PPR with an anxiety level that is killing me

I really can't get it, how is it possible that people are rejected noc-based after such a long time if the a11.2 or eligibility or whatever is mainly cleared much earlier and people can see that in gcms notes? We know that during bg check they simply verify the genuineness of documents not the duties on reference letters, provided that those are already verified on eligibility stage... :-\

next update: i got the letter for submitting passport today. New delhi vo. as I observed before also, they work on the reminders snoozed for weeks or months. like previous update, my last day to submit FBI was on june 29 and in 2 working days response !!
