Does anyone know about this?

If the PR application is in process then can one travel to another country to meet their parents or friends or visit as a tourist? Will it create a problem in PR process?

Hi guys,

I ordered my GCMS notes on April 25 and haven't received it yet.

Just curious that if I can order another one before I received the first order? I really want to know what happened to my case, as I received two ghost mail after I ordered the notes.

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I have a little bit of a situation here. I have paid for the RRPF on April 26th and awaiting PPR now.

I need to be in US on july 15th and hence need to apply for the US visa from Canada.

Once you get the PPR can you not travel outside until you get your PR card?

FYI: My current work permit expires in Feb 2017
Once you get your PPR you need to land in Canada and after you land you will be given a document so until you get your PR card you can travel to US with your visiting visa and your landing document

You can travel across land borders in a private vehicle using your CoPR documents - you can't land via air or sea unless you have your PR card or a travel document which you apply for once you are outside of Canada.

Hey readymade,

No problem. You can return to Canada with your work permit only, regardless of whether you have your PR card by July (I certainly hope you can get your PR card as soon as possible) or your TRV has expired. See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=527&top=16

You can also apply US tourist visa (B1) as a temporary resident in Canada. Not becoming a Canada PR yet does not affect you to obtain US visa.
