Post submission of eAPR on an average it takes around 5-6 months. Again it depends on the case officer, visa office and your application.syedahraza said:@ bestofluck
Fortunately, I am close to my PNP nomination. Is there any rough estimate as to how long after nomination it will take to get PR? Will some of the procedures like background checks take less time as they already have been checked at the PNP stage? Thanks
Thanks Stanlee. So that means that the little bit of background check that OINP does on its own behalf does not help in reducing the processing time. Because what I have seen is that the background check which IRCC does is the longest part in the PR process.Stanlee said:Post submission of eAPR on an average it takes around 5-6 months. In my opinion, no.syedahraza said:Thanks Stanlee. So that means that the little bit of background check that OINP does on its own behalf does not help in reducing the processing time. Because what I have seen is that the background check which IRCC does is the longest part in the PR process.
It is similar to police certificate request for other countries where the applicant has lived. Whenever an applicant who is living in or lived in Canada submits eAPR, they need not submit police certificate for their stay in Canada. However, if the visa office requires a police certificate, that's when they ask for RCMP clearance.patnikrishna said:native question, what is RCMP request ?
does everyone get this request ?

Did you receive an email notification for change of status?AmBiNa said:hi guys,

Thanks.
I think you only receive an e-mail notification when an actual change take place such as medical passed, additional document request, decision has been made or receiving a message into MyCIC account but not for changes like "not started" to "not needed at this time" and vice versa (not sure if I am correct)tgman said:Did you receive an email notification for change of status?
