Hi LegalFalcon,

I noticed a strange thing today. I had submitted my passport to be sent to Islamabad office on 15/04/2016. The tracking system was showing until all these days that my passport was delivered to Islamabad office on 18/04/2016. Today, the tracking shows that my passport was delivered to Abu Dhabi office on 10/04/2018. It appears like Islamabad office, further sent my passport away to Abu Dhabi for some reason and may be as Abu Dhabi office might be sending back my Passport and COPR, so it got reflected now in the system. Also, to note that today is Sunday and it is a working day in Abu Dhabi as the weekend is probably on Friday and Saturday. Either way I just hope I get my passport and COPR asap :)

Yes, In the UAE, Sunday is the first working day of the week and friday and saturday are off. So keep your fingers crossed and I hope you will get the PP soon.
As regards the process in Pakistan, I don't know much about it. Usually the visas are issues at the consulate level an not the embassy. If Pakistan comes under the Canadian Consulate at Abu Dhabi, then Abu Dhabi will be the issuing office even though they would have asked you to submit the PP at Islamabad.

Keep us posted and all the best.

Another week of hope and positivity going to start. Stay there for each other and hope we all who are waiting from more than 6 months will complete our journey soon by getting PPR

Not an issue, always happy to help. Send me a PM when you receive the notes. I will be landing in Canada next week, so I will not have internet connectivity on my phone, however I will check my emails once a day and will get back to you asap.

Hi Legalfalcon! Are you already in Canada? I'm very happy for you! By the way, I already received my GCMS last Saturday, April 30,2016 which I ordered last April 7, 2016 - so around 23 days - and below are the details:

September 9, 2015: Office- GCMS System
September 16, 2015: Office- CIO
January 29, 2016: Office- CPC-Ottawa
February 12, 2016: Office- Manila

Eligibility: Recommend Passed
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Medical: Passed

So these basically mean that my application was already forwarded to the local visa office (LVO) which is at Manila last Feb.12, 2016.
Then, it also means that it has been in Manila Visa Office for almost 3 months already!

Legalfalcon, may I please know your thoughts on this, is there a chance that my application can get rejected at this stage?
What's the best move to do next? Should I order another set of GCMS or I should just e-mail the Manila Visa Office? Should I also call them?

Is it also possible that the criminality & security checks have already started and only not reflected?
On the eligibility, "Recommend Passed" means were ok?

Thanks very much & would gladly wait for your response! God bless!

If you are the principal applicant, it means that you have to fly before August 2016 (actually, we have the same expiry of medical) with your spouse or she may follow before February 2017.

But there's a case in August AORs thread wherein Yelena was able to request CIC thru CSE that her medical is expiring and was given an extension.

Dont know how long need to wait. 8 months almost finish, not able to plan anything :(

Yes, you should order another set of GCMS notes. That will help you figure pout if the security is in progress, or they have not even started it.

At this stage, when the eligibility is passed, the chances of refusal are next to zero, given that there is no criminal record, and all your documents you submitted are correct and accurate. Sometimes CIC will verify your employers or your past experience you have claimed at this stage. But this is very rare.

You are very close to getting a PPR. Order another set of GCMS.

If you may have any further questions, feel free to ask.

All the best.

Wow u got earlier than me though we applied on the same date. I hope i ll get my GCMS sooner than 9th May which they mentioned when i followed up. Ur GCMS seems good and as Legalfalcon suggested apply another one. As these notes are generated on the day when we apply , so this means the latest info u ll get would be one month old by the time u receive it.

While i m waiting for my last i have applied another one last week.

But nevertheless lets forget about GCMS May GOD GIVE US PPR this week
