Yes, from last one month, I stopped checking my mails everyday. I started to check them every after 3/4 days.

I know its hard, but it helped me not getting crazy.

Im Sep 9 AOR.

I submitted my application on September 7th and got the aor on 9 th. I just called cic and got replied that the bg is still in progress. The agent is very quiet and she can not make an estimation how long until it is finalized. Then, I sent a prepared email to the Member of parliment in my area. I am waiting for the response from the MP.

For Vietnam it is: Visa office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

I got this mail from cpc Ottawa regarding my application. To my surprise, the reply came in just two days.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

Similar to your case, our medical status also changed from passed to "Review in progress".
