Hi

I am mostly a silent listener, got PPR mail on 1st March, but checked my mail today only. I decided to check my mails after every few days, as it helps to reduce the anxiety.,

timeline: 12-sep-2015
Outland- india

Now will send it to Delhi.

anyone who recently sent PP via VFS india can help me here.

1) does VFS india office open on Saturday. ? I am from Pune.
2) my passport is renewed, (CSE updated): so I need to send my new PP only.
3) two photo each of mine and wife.
4) PPR mail.

Thanks everyone here for helping everyone here.

I received a ghost email, but nothing changed on my profile on CIC. BG still in progress. AOR Sep 15 ::)

Hi guys i'm planning to call CIC today as my 6 months are over. Can anyone tell me which options to select while calling from outside Canada.
Thanks

Call on 1-613-944-4000. (International number)

Use options 1 1 1 Line will be transferred to CIO.

Use options 1 1 3

Agent will ask when you have submitted your application....Give your UCI or application # in order to check the status..

I also completed my 6 months yesterday and my background has not started yet. Tried to call but could not go through. Sent a CSE for status inquiry. Lets see.

Congrats on your PPR! Could you please share your timeline?
I want to clear one confusion of many people regarding PCC issue. For applicants from Punjab the Pcc from SSP will be fine not need from PSk. People made me worried about this Pcc issue bt Finaly got ppr yesterday .If there is any problem in your file about Pcc or Eca then they ll reject in few or first month.so I request people not to make any false statements bec this forum is for help not for fake rumours

Thank you all for your replies and a big thanks for your wishes.

My wife and I are so happy and positive to get this thing done now.

I will do as you guys advice me to do. email them and at the same time I will send a CSE as well to be doubly sure.

Legalfalcon: I received the PPR as an email saying "Ready for Visa". My account status still shows the same as it was before and I did not even receive any ghost emails.

I am just little nervous and very anxious to receive my Visa Office change letter within 3-4 days as you guys are telling me and then finally me and my wife can send our passports to New Delhi Visa Office.

My work has allowed to go on leave for only certain period of time as they are very supportive of the fact that its immigration.

So, yeah. Let me know if you guys have any kind of question or any help you want from my end. I will be more than happy to help anyone here.

Best of Luck.

Glad to know about your PPR. I have the same issue as yours. I sent my PP to CPC-O and my spouse sent to the Local VO. In my case, it took 2 days to change the VO. but in few other cases it needed upto 2/3 weeks.

I would like to apologize for the confusion. Passport received at Ottawa on 3rd. I will post when I get it back

Has it ever happened that CIC/LVO asked for additional documents after PPR email and submission of passport?

I got this mail from cpc Ottawa regarding my application. To my surprise, the reply came in just two days.
