Select #1. An agent will ask you about the UCI number, date of birth and other stuff to verify, then will look into your application and let you know.

I did. She didn't ask me anything, just told that 6 month is average. Can take longer. Please call after 1-2 months...

Tried again. Same result

Guys, can you please give me a number where you are calling? (Inland)

So annoying! what are they doing? In my case ,the status "BG in process" has been for 5 months. I am so terrified that they will reject me.

So, you tried it again on the same day and got told the same?

Why did CIC stop ECAS service? Those who have applied through immigration law firm, ECAS is the only way for them to check application status regularly. Does anybody have access to ECAS?

Think it was lost around November time. Don't think anyone who applied thro EE have ECAS.

Yep...

Sad to say that I'm calling two-three times per day to CIC, trying to get a "nice" agent.

Now I'm really worried because of agent that I talked yesterday. He told my application will take definetly more than 6... He told "Oh yeh, that will take longer than 6..."????? What did he see in the application? Or just he had a bad day...

Why are they sitting there if they are so helpless??????

congrats hossamo,

what is the email id u sent ? in how many days they replied ?

For USA applicants-

I received PPR on 22nd Feb had requested VO change to LA/NY on 23rd via email.
Yesterday, I raised CSE as a 'gentle reminder'.

I got VO change mail today, it is changed to LA. Don't know if that was due to CSE.

Hope it helps.

Relax mate!!

You have to realize that the people answering our calls are not the visa officers, they are just there to answer calls and give you the information they see on the computer. Nothing more and nothing less. You should stop calling them this frequently. Every application is different and will take different time to process.

+1 for that answer
