If they specifically asked for getting it from BANK in Canada, they probably want to ensure that you are actually performing the same duties here that qualify your NOC.

Is it too hard to get it from client when it could be the difference in getting PR vs not?

If I were in your shoes, I would try explaining this to the bank I am working at, providing them with a copy of what my actual employer gave me and will get something from them.

If that was not possible, I would try writing the best explanation (possibly including proof of refusal from client to issue any such thing) and more detailed letter from original employer.

P.S. Your original explanation is ambiguous - i.e. "from your supervisor". If the supervisor is from the current client i.e. Bank it should have been on bank's letterhead. If it was from original employer in home country, then again this is not CIC is asking for.

Dear fkl,

Supervisor was from my current employer in Canada and the letter was provided on company letterhead.

I spoke with my client manager, he/she is agreed to give a job reference letter but on a plain A4 sheet along with his/her contact details. Do you think it will work?

Thanks in advance.

That's odd that they asked for more details if it was already from employer in Canada.

Well plain A4 sheet is still better than not getting it. And yes contact details would certainly help.

Use all you can get, put an explanation letter and submit. Good luck, it should work.

Hello Guys..

Got the PR email (Ready for visa) today morning!!

Here are my timelines-

FSW Outland (India)
AOR Sep 13
Medical passed Sep 21
RPRF request - Oct 20
BG In Progress Feb 17
PPR Feb 2
I have a question though. It says in the email that I need to inform them immediately if there is a change in circumstances such as Birth of Child/and or pregnancy etc.. My wife is pregnant now and so I guess I need to inform them about this?

If so, how can I go about it? The email I received is auto-generated and so I don't think I can reply to that email ID.

Also, do you think this will cause any issues? i.e. will they ask for more documentation or to re-submit the application after the child is born etc..? Please let me know..

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You're now a graduate of the "School of Paranoia", we who are waiting are still in the loop of craziness, despair and excitement! The PPR mail is like a precious fresh air and we are gasping for it! The impatience is taking away our sanity! I don't even know if I'm typing correctly right now...God help us! :( ::) :o :'(
