It will be till your medicals are valid. Good luck!!!!

So what is I pass that date? Do i have to do medicals again or what?

I believe there is no such option. Basically this is expiration date of your visa and there's no way it can be extended.

So basically they would stamp that date on my visa right?

Most likely , You can land and get your basic papers , then leave Canada within a week till your PR card is issued to the address you give to them . You will have to have that PR card sent by a friend or someone to you because you cant get back into Canada without it.

Im just hoping that it happens within the 6 months timeframe.
Are there any examples of it going beyond 6 months?
What documents have been requested so far? Haven't received any requests so far after applying in September.
How long do you get to enter Canada after your passport is stamped.

I have seen one person who was FSW and got ITA in the first draw on Jan 30th. I think there was a post from him yesterday and so far there is nothing unusual on his case except that he always hears it is in process. That should technically be the longest case of EE almost one full year.

On another note guys, I got ppr this morning.

I am Oct 16 applicant, CEC inland with LMIA job with spouse and kids.

My case was specially complex because I left my LMIA job for which I got 600 points, just a month after application submission. And joined an LMIA exempt job. However, I kept CIC informed at all points and thankfully it seems to be turning out positively.

All the best to every one.

Thanks and all the best to you too.

Sure CEC is generally faster because you are in Canada for a while working and stuff. Plus there are additional issues of existing work permits expiring / on the boundary and other details.

But I had R10, A11.2 (Eligibility passed) on Dec 1 generated notes, with criminality passed, security and other things just started then. Plus I have several family members in my application. So technically it is slower than most of other CECs in the same stream / time frame.

However, as every thing with CIC, I am really grateful it got through. Otherwise, any one's case can get stuck for reasons unknown to us for a long time without any trace. And there is very little we could do about it. Good luck every one else.

Five months complete... I had really hoped i'll get it sooner.. :(
Would be terrible terrible to get application rejected now.
Have waited sooo much.
