CIC said "We expect to process most applications for permanent residence through the Express Entry system in six months or less, after we get a complete application.", not all the applications.

Unfortunately for whatever reasons we are not within the 'most applications'.
I believe the AOR you are referring to is not the automated confirmation email (or the so called 1st AOR) you received when you submit the application. The application is considered complete only when a CIC agent (human) review your application for completeness and mark "R10 OK" in GCMS.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/prov/bridging.asp

So HOW do we know when they marked/received our application complete or "R10 OK" without GCMS??
Anyone?

Anyone?

In ECAS or MY CIC they mention the date on which started the processing of the application

ECAS use to show like this (no access now)

We received your application for permanent residence on September 10, 2015.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 10, 2015.
We started processing your application on September 23, 2015.

Since ECAS is down now, where on MyCIC?

I think on my ECAS it showed 18th Sep we started processing your application.
If so, my 6th month mark is 18th MAR?
AOR is 7th Sep thus I was counting it to be 7th MAR!! :-\ :-\

No. It will be 7th!

well we should expect it by end of this month by seeing the recent trends.
Hope you are true! I really do.
I'm counting 9 on July yet to receive PPR (so far)--This is their 6th month.
Aug-- no idea...
Today's PPR trend was mostly for applicants from India. May be their Local VO was working. Not sure. See email on this page.
Most were from Aug and some from July.

But we haven't seen any movement on Sep thread. Hope that it will be soon.. very soon.
These days are very silent and PPRs are coming on batch. May be they are taking only 1 day of a week to work on EE. Don't know!!

How many people have not had their Bkg vheck started yet?
Do you think that they will start bkg when the person is passed everything else?
I am very worried why they have not started my bkg check yet. I have no idea why I always encounter the unexpected changing rule and decisions by cic....!!!

Before Dec there were many, actually a lot, PPRs without having their BGC started.
Now there are too but few. But consider PPRs issued are few too...
Todays' PPRs timeline shows that most of them had their BGC started.
So, IMO, it can't be said for sure if BGC is some kind of indicator to future PPR or not...
But I think having one is surely a better side.

Added: Most of AUG-ers also don't have their BGC started. Don't worry!

No. I mean from the September applicants how many have had their bkg starte already? A rough percentage?
I think September applicants are the only one that do not update their spreadsheet.

Hi all,
In one of my PCC, there is a spelling mistake in my fathers name as KADAM instead of KADMA. can this be reason for rejection? it takes very long time to make new PCC. pls suggest.

Where is spreadsheet and who is spreadsheet owner? I wish to have my data too...
I've seen very few inlanders (without PNP and Job Offer) have their BKG started. But very few... countable in one hand.
Percentage is hard to tell, no idea how many September-ers are there on this thread. Some members do not use their signature or update the forum info form. Have to look through their profile and recent posts....

Can not say for sure.
Some PCC do not have parental names at all. Just passport number and name.
Yours had your parent's name.
If officer spots this then may ask you valid document or cross check with your government if the person is really you on that document or not. Also depends on what further information about YOU is on that document.

If you want to update information with CIC you should update information with new document. Whats your AOR?
You should start preparing that new PCC with valid name immediately. If they ask from you then you will have document in hand.
Good luck! Now its up to luck. Hope officer not to spot that spelling error. Chances are officers may not because its foreign name and not your name but your fathers name.
But bad thing is not only one officer checks your document but many do; about 15-20 revisions are done in average following users who have their GCMS notes.

Good luck but also prepare a valid document!

On page 61 of this thread you can find them. There is no owner. Its open. Everybody can edit. It was messed up once and then nobody updated anymore after that.
