The wait is nerve-wracking! I'm really trying hard to ignore the elephant in the room.

Got an email update notification but no changes.

AOR 09/15/15
Medicals passed 09/19/15

Hey jemdill
did you get your additional documents request through your cic account or physical mail.

CIC buddy.. They always request through CIC account I think...

What is ECAS??
And what does the lines means?

I clicked on the link that was posted here earlier (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas)
Once I entered my info, I got the status as "In progress"
Then there are 3 lines with the last one saying they started processing on September 14th.
Are those what you guys meant by the number of lines in ECAS?

I got email today but nothing changed in my CIC account.

one question,

after we get access to ecas, do we still get emails if anything updates in the CIC system or ecas system.
or do we have to go there everyday to check for any update.
Thanks
Shiv

For ECAS u have to go check everyday. U won't get email for changes there. For my CIC u always get email notifications about updates but many times notification come before or after the change. But to be on safe side it's nice to check both every 2-3 days especially my CIC. Because there might be document request and they give limited time to submit docs. So u may not want to delay or miss any update. Know that this system is good but full of glitches.
Good luck

Thanks Sunil,

What changes we can expect in ecas. does these lines keeps growing with progress. for your case, you got eCAS access on 14th Aug .
ECAS -----14aug. (In process)

Now its 21st Septermber, What has changed after that in ecas? or its a long long wait for us.

Yes lines in ECAS grow. They vary from person to person but usually like we received application , correspondence is sent , we started processing application , medical recieved, document requested etc.
but as u know these updates may no be in sinc with actual events. For example some people suddenly get Ppr without updates. For some 2-3 updates come on single day. So it's just wait. Pattern is very random Predictions are tough on basis of these. But all seniors say no news is good news. That means having no updates is mostly good.
For me it's 3 lines ever since I got access to ECAS. no change after that. Waiting for a sudden Ppr....lol :D :D
Good luck

It's been exactly 20 days no update >:( the only update i got was on sep 9 about my Medical Pass and BG in Process.......Still waiting ::)

Hi

anyone getting issue of not recognizing application in Client Application Status ?

Seems this one behind it

Check your application status
Please note that some citizenship applicants are currently experiencing technical difficulties with our e-Client Application Status online tool. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you may refer to the processing times web page for an estimate of how long it may take to process your application. Thank you for your patience.
Some CIC clients may check the status of their immigration and/or citizenship application(s) online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; anytime, anywhere.

All other clients can use processing times as a guide to determine how long it can take to process their application.

Answer the following questions to determine which tools are available to you.

What did you apply for?

Hi

My timeline:

Medicals done Aug 28
PR submitted and AOR Sep 11

Medicals still show "not needed at this time"

Should I start to get worried?

Yes, you should get worried as 10 days have passed since your submission...

I mean come on............................... The whole process is estimated to take up to 6 months and it's been literally 10 days. Why are people so impatient..

Give them some time and I am sure yours will process in a timely manner.
