Don't despair, you are almost there. Is your BGC in progress? Did you order GCMS and where is your application at?

I have almost lost it now. I dont know what to do each and every time i get hold of agent they says its till in process. I got my last GCMS notes last Monday which were generated on last week of FEB and i could see last activity on my file was 29th January.

And it says
29th Jan Notes

Label: EE Eligibility
Office: CPC-Ottawa
Text:
PROTECTED "B" I PROTEGE "B"
OFFICER REVIEW FOSS CHECK COMPLETED: no adverse information JOB OFFER: WP issued w/ LMIA VALID
Job offer letter reviewed but not verified EXPERIENCE R75(2) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS- satisfied R76(1)
SELECTION CRITERIA- POINTS- satisfied Employment documents reviewed but not verified. SETTLEMENT
FUNDS N/A SELECTION PASSED ADMISSIBILITY: PC x PA: All required PCs on file and no A '35/36/37
concerns evident. Criminality passed. RCMP NRT Meds passed PPT valid

26th Jan Notes

Having analysed this application based on the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the
application, I have made the following recommendation: DECISION: RECOMMEND PASS• A11.2 Appears met•
76(1 )(a) Selection criteria appears met: The PA has more than 67 FSW points; • The PA has more than 7 years of
work experience as a XXX XXXX in NOC XXXX; • The PA has a valid job offer with a valid LMIA; •
PENDING: no pending documents and ready for finalize. ******************************************************* N.B:
Please review FOSS note for the PA before taking final decision *******************************************************

OMG what to expect and when to expect i really dont know. I could see after this activity there was no activity till 25th Feb. They completed the FOSS check on 29th Jan. We are in April now :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

You are almost there. I would recommend that you order another set of GCMS notes. It might trigger your file to be opened and move. Just a hunch. But, with the above, you are ther.

Has your criminality, security passed?

Security is something that is beyond the control of CIC and the time it takes depends on a lot of variables, number of countries visited, duration of stay in those countries, any known political connections with organizations, police reports, inter-nationality marriages etc. But, I guess that your security is complete and updated. It is just pending a final review before the PPR.

Emails and phone calls don't help at all. I called a few times after I reached the six-month mark and sent one email. It's just the usual response that the application is under review.

If you have already ordered the GCMS notes, you are good. With what you say, I would guess that you are very close to PPR. Expect to hear from CIC and get a PPR email as early as this Friday or next week.

Praying for you. Keep your fingers crossed and may the Immigration gods bless you soon. ;D

Finally after waiting for 7 months and 2 days today I finally received the PPR a few minutes ago. While I am abundantly happy for my application being finalized, I wish the people waiting for the PPR also receive the news soon.

I will be here on the forum and will try to help anyone who might need my help.

I will write a longer post in a new thread with all the details and my analysis and tools to help you all.

Thanks you all for supporting me and I will continue to stand with you.
Hi legalfalcon,

Been traveling the past week.... Saw your post.... Very happy for you mate... All the best for your future...

Thanks!

My country of residence is the USA. For me, Ottawa is the LVO. In your PPR email, the address of your LVO will be mentioned. If you have changed your country of residence you have to inform CIC. If you are traveling to a foreign country then too, you can request them to change your visa office so you can send your passport there for stamping.

In your case, I will suggest that when your PPR comes, you should immediately send them an email asking for an expedited processing of your Passport and mention that you have an exam (send a copy of your admission card with the email). If you PPR comes too close to your exam, ask them to give you extension to submit your passport.

I will suggest that you should keep at least 1 month of buffer period between when you send your PP for visa and when it returns. Once you have your PPR, your application is approved and they cannot change it. It is better that you concentrate on your exam instead of sending the PP. So whenever you get the PPR, see how much time you will have before your exam and plan accordingly.

Hope this helps. Stay calm and prepare for your exam.
Thanks for really good advice. I will be sure to get my passport renewed and send them a note for accelerating my visa issuance along with exam documents; or if there is not enough time, I would ask for an extension instead of worrying too much. I wish you all the best in the coming days and that you have a great time in your new homeland!

Hi everyone,

I got PPR yesterday and just wanted to share it with people who are still waiting for your good news.

AOR Received.: 09-09-2015
Med's passed..: 21-09-2015
Doc's Request.: 08-02-2016

As you can see I received my AOR on Sept 9, 2015 2 weeks after my Medical was passed and right after mt BG check changed to processing. I absolutely did not hear anything back from CIC untill Feb 2016. While I was waiting for my PPR in Feb I received and update email on Feb 8, 2016 when I checked my profile I found out I was required to submit some declaration about my bank account. CIC was asking me to submit required documents related to my bank within 7 days. 2 days after first doc's request, Feb 10 2016, I was asked to submit Schedule A with my resume. This time they gave me 30 days timeline to submit the required documents.

I called CIC on March 15, 2016 and I was told they are still processing my application and if I don't hear back from them by August I can call them back.

To make the story short I believe whoever is waiting for PPR stage and has already passed the 6 months will get the PPR with 99% chance because CIC has no hesitation to refuse the applications. Best of luck to all and you will get your PPR soon!!
Hi hdavachi,
Can you please elaborate on the bank declaration part ?
If similar document is requested from us, we'll be better prepared.
Thanks in advance.

Hearty Congratulations to all those who received PPR this week so far!!! :D :D

Hope the showers of rain drench us in the coming weeks too!!!

A quick question friends!!! As I see in the Spreadsheet, most of the applicants had taken a smart decision by paying the RPRF Upfront. I haven't paid yet, as they haven't requested it yet. However, in our application, background check went into progress on April 1st 2016. Is this normal? Ours is a FSW Outland application, a bit apprehensive of when we could get the "golden mail". Has there been instances where the Background check goes into "In progress" prior to the RPRF Request? Can anyone please throw some light into this?

AOR Nov 3rd. Well I do have company of applicants sharing the same AOR and co-incidently most of them being FSW Outland. Really hoping for some good news!!!

God bless us all!!!!

Usually the trend is to request for RPRF and then the application goes into BGC, which is the last stage for FSW outland applicants. However, there have been cases where the applicants have received PPR without their BGC going in progress, but RPRF is always asked.

Answering anything without having GCMS notes is difficult. Have you ordered the GCMS notes?

I will be getting the GCMS notes on the last week of April.. I ordered it on March 28th.

I would like to know, if at all the case is that I'd be getting the notes as of the last week of March, is it advisable or helpful in any ways if I order another set around April 15 and then on May 3rd, the date is be hitting the 6 months time????

Please advise..
