I tried to follow the steps you gave, however it does not show the option to edit the signature in the modify profile link.

Click on Profile on the top right. Then click on Forum Profile Information on the left pane and there you can change your signature.

There is nothing like "profile forum information" on the left side.

You need to send at least 10 posts, then the "profile forum information" gets activated for you! Keep posting buddy
