Why should it be a problem?
is your visa still valid?
If it is still valid, you should not be worried. because your work permit has expired but your visa is still valid!
Just upload your documents and attach a cover letter brifly explaining what has happened. That's it!

Thanks a lot shibaak!!! I did submit my documents last night after contacting CIC on how to explain the case. They walked me trough on how to write the explanation which is odd that they help that way. But was just curious to see if there was someone with similar situation to share the story and how it went after it. But thanks for your support
