Hi Gatred,

After submitting the passport, did you receive any email when the PR application is approved?

Also, are you going to rainbow bridge or any local office for landing?

Congratulation for PR...

I had sent my application on Jan 13, 2017 CEC Inland.

I have question regarding PCC scan copy.

I had uploaded black & White copy. Some ppl in this form are saying it is mandatory color copy. I have Indian PCC which is B&W only signature is in green color. I had submitted color passport copy which has same signature as in PCC.

I am really confused what should I do now. As you are already pass from this situation please advice what to do.

Your reply would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Chirag

The conclusion was, it is better to upload color scan copy, you can raise CSE for that.

Agreed!

Color copies always proves better legibility & originality rather than B&W copies. I don't find any logic why applicants choose to upload B&W copies while they can easily scan in color. Specially, for any document bearing official seal or stamping i.e. PCC stamp, company seal etc, ought to be scanned in color.

Though, not explicitly, any rejection is there for not providing color copies, we all should encourage prospective applicants to upload color copies of every documents possible in terms of ligibility.

Thanks

hello
Had received a PNP on 22nd august 2016.
Crs 1041
Received ITA on 24th August
Application submitted to CIC on 22nd September.
Till date review of eligibility is review in progress.
When I am checking online putting the receipt number it shows we cannot find your applicTion for three reasons in which one states that it may not get have been under processing yet.
Now my concern is that is it supposed to be this way in which my file is progressing because even the PCC which is valid for 6 months will be expiring in a months time as i had got it done on 1st September.
Can anybody fill in
Thank you

Once you submit the e-APR, the expiry date of PCC, IELTS, medical etc. get locked-in. It means CIC will only check the validity of these documents as per the validity on your application submission date. Same is applicable for your age too.

So, don't worry. You're at good situation & additionally, the MyCIC status for most of the August/September applicants is still "Eligibility review-In Progress".

Thanks

Why Tuesday? Do they usually send PPR on Tuesdays?
