Either you call CIC and get this info or your GCMS will show you that decision is made.
MyCIC will not have any update for decision made, it will only have the update once your COPR is issued.

Yes INR 980 is including return courier to your address, here is the breakup:

INR 580 - VFS handling charges for the stamping
INR 49 - SMS alert service
INR 351 - Courier charges for returning the passports

Good morning folks!! I'm happy to announce my PPR post a wait of 7 months, 1 week and 6 days!! My application was approved on 6th April and as per CIC RFV was sent then only, however it wasn't received either by me or by my lawyer. Thanks to this forum and specially adin.blr, who posted his details here and I could follow the same steps to snatch my PPR from CIC !!

To my fellow waitlisters - Please get in touch with CIC if you haven't done already, I wish you also announce the news soon and that we celebrate together in Canada! Cheers!!

My visa is valid until medicals only i.e. 5th Sep 2016.
I am looking for a project there with my current employer.
Landing could be anytime in the next one month. Fingers Crossed...

Ah, okay.. Makes sense. Good luck with the project search, I also am trying for that but have initiated the resignation process.

I also checked MyCIC today and the application is showing as closed and approved. Not sure when our passports would be stamped / sent back, the next phase starts now

Job hunt is on - had an offer before the VISA arrived but they wanted me to join too soon.. Looking for other opportunities..

Yes, few employers do encourage Skype/telephonic interviews (personal experience), but if you do it without visa then final answer would mostly be- we are looking for someone to join with in 3 months if not ASAP and total time for arranging work visa for you would be around 6+ months so your profile cant be taken forward.

For a change I got closure on my application fast ! Application closed and approved today, VFS sent passport to NDVO on 1st and today they have processed and sent it back to VFS. Will receive COPR shortly afterwards
