Hey Guys,

Just a quick update.

AOR 26 Oct 2015
RPRF 22 Mar 2016

Received today 12 April 2016 letter requesting I send a copy of my passport, 2 passport type photos to the local consulate.

I have done this today and returned it ASAP via courier.

Any idea how long the process takes from now until the COPR arrives?

It's been 15 days since I submitted my passport at VFS. The tracker just says being processed. Tension continues... I hope there are no issues. What do they actually do after requesting for passport?
Should I call VFS?

Still haven't heard anything after all the documents were submitted they requested in early November 2015.

What is this GCMS everybody is talking about and how can I get this?

I am guessing that since the October AORs are being processed currently by CIC, your file should also see some movement, - most probably the welcome news of a PPR should be near.

You can get information regarding the work which has been done on your file. Basically it is everything that the Visa Officer investigates and concludes, including his comments and the status of your file. However one small drawback is that these GCMS notes are usually received almost 30-35 days from the day of order. If you are in Canada, you can use the following link to order them yourselves. If you are outside Canada, then there are a couple of other websites which of this service (I don't really know which one is the best).
