My question is about landing, is it common for them to ask about money proof at the airport when landing ? if so they ask for cash or you can simply show them your national bank statement showing you have enough money and cards, which means you'll get cash from ATM after.

Please be as specific as possible,
Thank you so much again !

Congrats Adam. Yes it is common for them to ask POF upon landing. You can surely show bank statement of your account assuming it is Canadian account or usable in Canada. I am a little unsure about using statement of a foreign bank. But the point is that CBSA would try to assure that the money is available at your disposal.

Some times, people deposit in a bank usable in Canada or carry traveler cheques or bank draft etc. You could also carry cash but have to declare if you have more than 10k CAD to CBSA before they find out. Generally people carry a mix, statement + traveler cheques etc. along with some cash.

Thank you Fki !
And a normal cheque, your own cheque is fine as well, instead of cash ?
Thanks !

Last few days were filled with silence, looks like CIC guys were on vacation :D

Good to see some movement now, hopefully, we'll continue hearing about PPRs in the days to come. Congratulations to saikan, MMCanada2014, adam ontario, VixenS, Wecandoit & bsandy

Looks like CIC finally got out of hibernation. Congratulations on your PPRs people!!!

These are only Inland, am I right? They haven't started with Outland yet?

You are welcome. I would say get a guaranteed cheque. Just writing a self cheque doesn't mean it won't bounce and you actually have those funds. Traveller cheque, pay order or draft ensures that.

Spreadsheet is updated.

A side note, I just found out that the my return tracker is activated. So I'm expecting to get my passport baxck sometime tomorrow.

Good to know.
I was wondering if at all the FSW outland candidates from Oct AOR are getting PPR.

I am not sure, if CIC is releasing the PPRs based on the CRS score of the applicants.
Seems I will be the last being at score of 456 with AOR on 10th Oct :(

I second that thought & hope they turn to the outlanders soon. Though on one hand, I am happy as finally there is some movement with the october aor's & many have received PPR yesterday but it is also making me tense now as my BG changed to in progress last wednesday & considering the trend, I should have also received PPR in next couple of days but unfortunately there is no progress since. Most members got PPR within 2 days after their BGC status/application status changed & in my case there's no update even after a week...getting a little worried now :'(

I don't think you need to be worried. A lot of people got background in progress last week and still none of them received PPR yet.

Ohh..
My BG check changed to 'Inprogress' yesterday late night.

I hope to receive PPR before this weekend.
Praying that all goes well.
