Congrats Adam. Yes it is common for them to ask POF upon landing. You can surely show bank statement of your account assuming it is Canadian account or usable in Canada. I am a little unsure about using statement of a foreign bank. But the point is that CBSA would try to assure that the money is available at your disposal.adam ontario said:Hi Everyone,

My question is about landing, is it common for them to ask about money proof at the airport when landing ? if so they ask for cash or you can simply show them your national bank statement showing you have enough money and cards, which means you'll get cash from ATM after.
Please be as specific as possible,
Thank you so much again !
Some times, people deposit in a bank usable in Canada or carry traveler cheques or bank draft etc. You could also carry cash but have to declare if you have more than 10k CAD to CBSA before they find out. Generally people carry a mix, statement + traveler cheques etc. along with some cash.
