God knows ......... I am very much disappointed with working style of CIC.
There are few people who says they are doing there job...yes , but there is no rule.
Everything is strange I see here with PR process . :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Yes it is disappointing. CIC is treating inland PNPers and inland FSWers unfair.
If you look at the trend for last year, PNPers would get PPRs within 2-3 months before June/July but after that
it became very slow and thats very very disappointing. :'( :'( :-\ :-\ :-\ :'( :'(

Hello Rajanvnv,
Thank you!
Getting OIPNP nomination took an extremely long time for me so I am very happy that CIC was so much quicker.

Best Regards,
IrieLady

fkl, thank you for your input.
You mentioned that it might be a good idea to call CIC if there is a chance of PPR. Are you suggesting calling and simply asking about the status of an application? I always thought that call centre agents were useless when providing further info on an app!
Thanks and congrats =)

You are most welcome. Generally they are useless and don't tell anything. But if in their records ppr has been sent and you don know that because of system error I am pretty sure they would tell you.

I had that same issue. Just take the pdf file and convert it to a doc file.
Many websites can do this fast. Try: http://pdf2doc.com

Hi there,

Yes they did. I actually ordered GCMS notes and noticed that it took them over a month to send the request from the moment they decided to do it.

Congratulations buddy on your PRR

Do you know if they called your employer to do ref. check?

He told me nothing.

medical briefly changed to passed, then went back to review in progress.

Same here. Almost 4 months completed for my PR application (FSW Outland).

No update, no clue after the medical got passed on 15th October 2015 :( :(

I know it's damn frustrating waiting patiently without any updates at all :( Btw, your timelines are very similar to mine, is the processing office also NDVO?

Finally got PPR today, thankfully.

It was a pretty complex case. CEC inland with LMIA job, but I quit job a month after applying to join another LMIA exempt job and I had claimed 600 points for that. Plus my first job was based in Quebec so I used this as intension of moving outside of Quebec as well.

All the best to every one else and stay put.

Congrats Buddy!! Finally the wait is over :)
