Hi I am CEC category, I got my AOR on Oct 09, Medical passed & Back ground "Not Stated yet started" . I applied thru agency, i called my agency yesterday & they said not need to worry as the CIC will not update the background status all the time.

We have seen may cases where ppl's background status never changed to inprocess.

I asked my agency can we apply for GCMS notes, they said it's not necessary as the normal processing time is 6 months.

THANKS
vernon

I got my AOR on Dec 15th but I applied my self - Both my BG check and revie wof eligibility - shows in progress

So here it is about statuses and BG checks and everything:

First and foremost, be patient. It takes time. Changing statuses or different status for different applicants are based on their specific cases. Applying through an agent/consultant has no affect or influence on the way your file is processed by CIC.

Just because someone's status has "In progress" and yours does not, even though you have similar timelines, does not necessarily mean something is wrong with your application. VOs are different, Offices are different, paperwork for your file are different and they are processed as required.

Do not panic. Just be patient, CIC has a way of working and from so many cases and history we can learn that it is unpredictable.

There are many PPR for August and September.
We should be next. Let's stay positive and get ready!!!

I am truly hoping the best for all. :D

in progress a few days after AOR.

Ready for visa.

I think it is final decision from local office. otherwise it should be RFV according to others' GCMS in this forum.
Before file transfer, my case has experienced four comments from a case analyst and a reviewer in CPC, an agent and a reviewer in CIO during OCT 20 and NOV 10.

Many August applicants with AOR 3 4 and 5 August got PPR yesterday.Going by this trend I think our turn should come by mid of FEB.

What you guys think. My AOR is 5 october

Most of the PPR issued is for FSW outland. God knows whats happening with PNP applicantions.

Provided the same pace is maintained we should hope towards that.. Optimistically we should have at least a few PPRs by mid-Feb. I'm a mid-oct AOR, hoping for the PPR to arrive soon (Won't complain if PPR arrives before Mid-Feb :D Lol)!

Got my PPR Today!!! [Ready for Visa Email from CIC]

Please see my timeline below and can you update the spreadsheet?
