I finally was able to get someone from the CIC Call Centre to look at my file.
She said they are not requesting anything from me and a VO has to make a decision.

Also, she said they are mainly processing September applications.

Just got updated status on my Application on CIC. Noting else changed, and no email reached my email or cic inbox. They will be a couple of extremely hard days/months for me

You totally didn't get what we were talking about. Before we clicked "Check Status and Messages" button, it was changed from Submitted to Updated and then we clicked "Check Status and Messages" but no change for the application. Then when we clicked "Return to previous page", the status changed back to Submitted.

That's what i was trying to explain that changing the status back to submitted is normal.
but a good news is surely on its way.

Good - probably you should get a ghost email in a day or so max. And hopefully PPR follows.

In my case it stays UPDATED whatever I do! Also I have background in progress since Nov 18th.

Just now spoke to my consultancy, he said out of 70 who applied in Oct, i am the only one still has not got any decision on my PR status.

I applied on the 6th October 2015 and still have In Progress status for Background check. I think it is just about waiting.

Guys,

I understand how everyone is eagerly waiting for their PPR. I am one too. Lets think of something good about Express Entry.
This process is streamlined compared to the previous process and we are seeing the results. Yes, there are people(Lucky Fellows) who are getting PR fast, comparatively but still we are far luckier than the people who are stuck with the old process still waiting for the PR's from the last 1.5 years. I know few people like that.

Worst case for all the people who applied in October should get the PR by May 1st. Its is a bitter truth but need to accept and the same can been seen with the September guys.

Thats not true for sure !!!! 90% of octoberians will start to receive ppr in March ....
