I have a question for the people who have received their PPR's... I've read in the June AOR and July AOR threads that first you Get a MyCIC update of DM and then you get a PPR... I now see in sept AOR and this forum that many are getting PPR just after their is an update to Background check...

Have they changed their PPR process..??

My BG chk is at Not started I submitted my requested additional document (FBI PCC) a month ago... any one know how long it takes for the respective VO to look into an application post submission of requested document..? I'm FSW - Outland

I don't know how you guys do it.. (being patient that is.. ). I jump on my phone every time I get a mail notification..

I am in in similar situation, stuck for 4 months. After the meds passed, there has been no movement at all ! Hopefully we hear some good news this week !

Logged into my account. It was Changed to Updated from submitted. after clicking it showed no change. Also, it was again changed to submitted from updated.
I dont know whats going on. so basically I saw the "Updated" thing just once. Is there anyone who faced the same situation?????

SCH a rqst 15th NOV
no update since then.
gcms requested on 27th jan. waiting for that too.

I witnessed same behavior with my application after 5 days of submission.
For sure, mine is nothing to do with PPR ;D ;D

My AOR is 2 november 2015 and passport expires on 07 september 2016. Currently my bg is in review and was wondering if my PPR delays more than 12 march, will they rejected my application or request new passport?

According to the forum members,
Some Visa Office require 6 months Passport Validity whereas some require 12 months.

I would like to advice you that if you passport is near to expire then get it renewed on the urgent basis and raise a CSE with your new passport
instead of taking risk.

Seems I am the one of the very few who have not got any update (no status update/no ghost e-mail) on my application since last 4.5 months
