Received my GCMS notes today. It is with NDVO, and Ottawa is the secondary. Security is pending and the VO's notes say it is "ready to finalize". Eligibility is 'Met'.

How much longer now guys? The weird part is the notes were last updated on 24th Nov and it has been at NDVO since. Grrrr.

Difficult to predict when the office is NDVO.
Eligibility met, ready to finalise are good signs that everything is fine with your application. However, one gets to see this in the first month itself. Remaining part that is security takes anywhere from 2 to 5 months.

NDVO is a little lazy at times in updating status of eligibility. They usually update it in one go in the end.
I and a few others, too had eligibility not started even after three months of AOR.

As in everything there is a pattern, we just not able to identify it. All cases go through the same workflow, the average time would be in 80% similar.

I dont have a pool large enough to make accurate predictions on the tracker for NDVO but soon... we will.

For me, eligibility says Recommended Passed and security is not started. But when I was on call they said that they have sent my file for security clearance on Feb 1st. (which is not indicated in my GCMS). But my A11.2 is indicated in GCMS which was on Feb 2nd. So I don't know what to believe.
